Originalmente, Yuudai Project nació como un pequeño proyecto llamado Dzeta Fansub. Sin embargo, debido a que las personas que iniciaron el grupo ya no se encuentran activas, las personas actualmente comprometidas a éste decidieron que un cambio de nombre y reestructuración total del mismo era la mejor opción para mejorar el sentido de pertenencia. 

Así pues, Yuudai Project es el nombre oficial del grupo de usuarios de «Foros Dz» que dedica su tiempo libre a traducir, corregir y editar doujinshis, oneshots y mangas que no se encuentran en español. 

¿Por qué trabajan más Oneshots y Doujinshis que mangas?

Porque nos hacemos líos con trabajos extensos. A veces alguien del equipo no puede seguir trabajando por alguna razón y no encontramos quién lo supla por tiempo indefinido; en caso de que ese alguien se salga por completo del grupo, lo reasignamos, pero tampoco se le puede dar la misma rapidez ya que, quién suple, por lo general tiene otro título a su cargo. 

¿Cuándo estará el siguiente capítulo de ______?

¡Esperamos que pronto! Mensualmente hacemos una actualización, por muy pequeña que sea, así que puede aparecer cualquier día quince/dieciséis. Igual, nos enfocamos mucho en aquellos títulos que vemos, tienen algo de acogida, los que no tienen tanta, los dejamos para “después” pero, en definitiva, no los cancelamos.

Pero tienen más de un proyecto cancelado…

Porque otro fansub los trabaja y creemos que es suficiente que lo trabaje uno, al final de cuentas es para que lo puedan leer en español.

Pero, tienen activo uno que otro fansub trabaja…

En ese caso es porque el scanlation nos confirmó que no ha dado permiso a otra persona… o sea, si queremos compartir al español, mínimo, hay que tener cortesía. 

¿Cortesía?

Sí, una mínima cortesía como pedir permisos. Muchos dirán “pues no le piden permisos a los autores” pero si todos pudiéramos entender japonés, creo que estaríamos comprando y leyendo mangas y no esperando a que un alma caritativa se apiade de nosotros para que podamos leerlos. Ahora, tampoco es que sea tarea fácil scanear, limpiar scans y traducir, lo cual, nosotros como equipo, agradecemos, ya que sin ello no podríamos brindarles trabajo alguno.

Pero ustedes a veces no piden permisos…

En efecto, existen trabajos dónde no pedimos permisos y puede ser por dos razones:

• En su web o por correo nos han dicho que podemos trabajar sus títulos sin permiso alguno.
• El scanlation está disuelto desde hace varios años y, dado que la historia es genial, hemos decidido trabajarlo.

 De ahí en más, mantenemos nuestra política sobre los permisos.

¿Puedo alojar sus trabajos en mi blog/sitio?

Puedes usar los enlaces que proporcionamos, así, en caso de que alguno deje de funcionar, podremos arreglarlos a la brevedad. 

¿Puedo re-traducir sus trabajos a otro idioma?

Te podemos referir al scanlation/grupo que lo trabajó en inglés. Recuerda que nuestra traducción es una traducción de otra traducción y el sentido puede verse afectado con una nueva traducción. Sin embargo, si por alguna razón únicamente puedes traducir del español, mándanos un mail y veremos a qué acuerdo llegamos :]

Soy de otro fansub/scanlation ¿Están interesados en hacer un joint?

¡Por supuesto! La única condición es que se comprometan con nosotros, si vemos que no hay avance de su parte daremos por terminado nuestro trato. 

…¿y por qué tienen todo decorado de Nozaki-kun si no lo trabajan?

La pregunta es: ¿a quién no le gusta Nozaki-kun?

Hey, there’s a release without permission, why did you do that?

Could be the case that we did some releases without permissions, but we didn’t know where to ask because the group is defunct and, thinking about the amazing story it is, we decided to work on it anyway. If it is the case that you participate in the original release and you don’t want us to share it with our non-english readers, tell us and we will delete it… but first, give it a look, we did a good work translating, correcting and editing those scans, and we bet you did the same when you worked them, so, we beg you, if it is the case, please, don’t stop the share, remember, sharing is caring. 

Guys, why did you ask my team for permissions and never work the title? Or why did you cancel it?

Welp, this is a harsh question but with very reasonable answers. We understand that you must be mad with us, because we asked and we didn’t work them but, let me tell you the truth, maybe we didn’t know we got the permissions! You must be “Oh…how is it? It can’t be true” but, honestly, it’s the truth. Long time ago, in the beginning of Dzeta Fansub, there were other people in charge and they did the administrative work, so, yes, they asked for permissions. When they left, they didn’t say anything, suddenly, they just disappear and the team collapsed, so, we started again looking for titles and permissions. Then again, we start over, and if we asked long ago for permissions and we didn’t work with them, believe us, we didn’t know we got them.

There’s a different case with cancelled mangas. Every group dedicated to do something in their spare time want something from people. We’re not even talking about money but concerning. Suddenly we got a hiatus, where nobody cared about our disappearing and, obviously, we get in some difficulty to go back and work. Why do you work if nobody cares? So, when people started asking about our whereabouts, sadly, six months have been passed and titles we were working were worked for some other groups. So, with all the sadness we cancelled them because another group just decided to start them, with or without permissions, we don’t know, we don’t even want to see if they do a quality work like we do, but it’s still sad that we cancelled them because nobody noticed us…but groups noticed our titles.

I’m from another scanlation, would you mind if we do a joint?

We accept! But don’t let us down, if we’re gonna take responsibility, so do you, please.
